What is involved with a CCTV Camera Chimney Inspection?

When you have made an appointment with us through a call or booking, our team will arrive at your location to conduct a chimney survey. The survey can be carried out either from the fireplace cap or the chimney pot down, depending on the property. But, first, the chimney will need to be cleaned to remove soot and creosote build-up to correctly see any damage that may be present in your flue. This procedure is carried out with a CCTV camera.
Then we will insert the camera into the chimney and take a complete recording from top to bottom. The recording will then be downloaded onto a CD and given to you. You may use this for insurance purposes, fire and safety compliance, or your architect.
